Cove stands at 2,914 feet on the eastern edge of the Grande Ronde Valley in Union County, with Mount Fanny rising to the east. OR 237 winds through the town, and a natural warm-water pool, Cove Hot Springs, is a local draw. Each August the Cove Community Association runs the Cherry Fair, a volunteer festival with roots in 1911.
We rent mobile kitchen trailers, dishwashing trailers, and emergency refrigeration trailers as short-term rentals or long-term leases. Call any hour or request availability and a quote for your Cove site.

Winter here is mild, with typical January lows around 26°F. Freeze protection is a light-touch item, and we keep it on the checklist for the occasional cold snap.
Cove's July highs average about 87°F. That is a normal load for our equipment, but it is enough to expose an aging walk-in cooler, which is a common reason people call us.
Expect a long delivery: roughly 255 miles straight-line from Salem. Tell us the date you need the kitchen running and we plan the haul, the escort needs, and the setup crew around it.
The Cherry Fair is an all-volunteer festival first held in 1911, revived after a gap, and now run by the Cove Community Association. The 2026 edition featured a pancake breakfast, a community parade and vendors on the Ascension School grounds. A volunteer group serving breakfast to a crowd might rent a proper cooking line.
I-84 over the Blue Mountains has closed repeatedly in winter storms, including in January 2022 and February 2025, and OR 237 itself has been shut for hours in a snowstorm. Stranded travelers and local facilities cut off from supply need temporary kitchens and cold storage.
Cove Hot Springs Pool and Mount Fanny draw visitors to the town. A lodge, camp or retreat operator hosting groups can find its kitchen out of service mid-season, and a temporary kitchen with dishwashing keeps meal service running during repairs or a remodel.
We keep equipment in Salem, the Oregon capital, and plan every delivery from there. Cove is about 255 miles from the warehouse as the crow flies; the actual road route, timing, and any permits are confirmed when we quote.
From Salem, take I-5 north, then I-84 east over the Blue Mountains, where the highway climbs from Deadman Pass near 3,600 feet to a summit above 4,100. From I-84 follow OR 82 and then OR 237 east to Cove. Carry chains in winter and check TripCheck.
The closest towns we serve are Union (about 7 miles), Island City (12 miles), and Imbler (14 miles).
Open 24/7
Snow and blowing drift have repeatedly closed I-84 across the Blue Mountains, and OR 237 has closed in storms too. When roads cut off supply or a kitchen fails, a 24/7 emergency deployment can arrange cooking, dishwashing or refrigeration trailers.

Rentals run by the month, with short-term and long-term options. Delivery, setup, and pickup are coordinated for your site. An inquiry does not reserve equipment; a person confirms availability, delivery time, and terms with you. Hours: open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Setup usually takes about five hours for kitchens and dishwashing trailers and about one hour for refrigeration units, and an inquiry is the first step, not a reservation.
A closed kitchen does not stop anyone from being hungry. Dependable Cove mobile kitchen rentals, backed by people who answer the phone, keep meals on schedule while the permanent kitchen is out.
Delivery and setup of Cove mobile kitchen rentals are coordinated around your schedule in Cove, with timing confirmed at quote.
(888) 385-5513 is answered all day and all night. If a cooler fails at 2 a.m., that is the number to call.
One team helps choose the trailer, plans the hookups, and collects it when the job is done.
Terms run from a single week to a long lease, matched to how long your own kitchen will be out of service.
Equipment built to handle a full day of service, from the cooking line to the dish room and cold storage.
Site access, placement, power, water, and wastewater are checked before the trailer is on the road.
Our customers run commercial and institutional kitchens, including hospitals, schools, government and military sites, hotels, correctional facilities, and caterers. What we promise is what we can confirm: someone answering the phone at any hour, coordinated delivery and setup, and a written quote that states terms before you agree to anything.
Lost cold storage, a fire or flood in the kitchen, or a failed dish-room inspection can all call for a trailer fast. Phone us, and we start working out the replacement while you gather the address and power details.
Ask the Union County health department which license applies to a festival food operation, and whether a volunteer event is treated differently from a commercial one. Confirm requirements well before the event date and share them with the rental.
