Mile 0 of the Seward Highway and the southern end of the Alaska Railroad, Seward sits on Resurrection Bay on the Kenai Peninsula. Cruise ships, Kenai Fjords tours and a commercial fishing harbor keep many restaurants and lodgings running mainly from mid-May to mid-September. Year-round employers include a state prison and the AVTEC vocational school.
We rent mobile kitchen trailers, dishwashing trailers, and emergency refrigeration trailers as short-term rentals or long-term leases. Call any hour or request availability and a quote for your Seward site.
Elevation from the Open-Meteo elevation model. Temperatures are averages for January lows and July highs in 2022 to 2024, from Open-Meteo reanalysis data.
At roughly 30 feet there is no altitude adjustment for burners, ovens, or dish-machine water. Humidity and heat matter more, and we plan refrigeration and ventilation around them.
Winter nights regularly drop below freezing, with lows around 18°F. We check water-line protection and heater capacity for rentals through the cold months.
Summer highs near 63°F keep refrigeration loads light and kitchens comfortable. Wind, rain, and cool nights are the bigger planning items for an outdoor setup.
Alaska is not one connected road network, and much of it is reached by ferry, barge, or air freight. Whether Seward can take a trailer by road or needs another route is confirmed when we quote, so give us your dates early.
Each Fourth of July the Mount Marathon Race, a steep run up and down the mountain beside town, draws racers and spectators on top of the usual summer visitors. An event operator, caterer or lodge could use extra cooking and dishwashing capacity for that one holiday weekend.
Seward is an end-port for several Alaska cruise lines, with dozens of ship visits between mid-May and late September. Meal demand arrives in waves around each sailing, so a failed range or walk-in at a restaurant or lodge during the season could be costly, and a trailer kitchen can bridge repairs.
Seward declared an emergency in October 2018 after days of rain sent debris-filled water toward roads, bridges and homes, and flooding struck the area again in October 2020. A flooded or powerless kitchen at a lodge, care facility or work camp could need temporary cooking and refrigeration.
We keep equipment in Juneau, the Alaska capital, and plan every delivery from there. Seward is about 545 miles from the warehouse as the crow flies; the actual road route, timing, and any permits are confirmed when we quote.
Juneau is not on the road system, so a trailer from the warehouse needs a sea or air leg to reach the highway network before the Seward Highway (Alaska Route 9) into town. That highway has had temporary winter closures and avalanche-control delays near Turnagain Pass. Confirm carriers and schedules before planning.
We confirm the exact route and any seasonal limits for your address at quote.

Heavy autumn rain brought a flood emergency in October 2018 and more flooding in October 2020, and a December storm once sent waves over Lowell Point Road. When flooding or storms disable a kitchen or cooler, 24/7 emergency deployment addresses the gap.

Rentals run by the month, with short-term and long-term options. Delivery, setup, and pickup are coordinated for your site. An inquiry does not reserve equipment; a person confirms availability, delivery time, and terms with you. Hours: open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Setup usually takes about five hours for kitchens and dishwashing trailers and about one hour for refrigeration units, and an inquiry is the first step, not a reservation.
When a kitchen closes for a renovation, a repair, or an emergency, the people it feeds still need to eat. Reliable Seward mobile kitchen rentals and a team that picks up the phone keep service running on your schedule.
Delivery and setup of Seward mobile kitchen rentals are coordinated around your schedule in Seward, with timing confirmed at quote.
Call (888) 385-5513 any hour. A broken cooler or a closed kitchen does not wait for business hours.
One team helps choose the trailer, plans the hookups, and collects it when the job is done.
Terms run from a single week to a long lease, matched to how long your own kitchen will be out of service.
Equipment built to handle a full day of service, from the cooking line to the dish room and cold storage.
Site access, placement, power, water, and wastewater are checked before the trailer is on the road.
Our customers run commercial and institutional kitchens, including hospitals, schools, government and military sites, hotels, correctional facilities, and caterers. What we promise is what we can confirm: someone answering the phone at any hour, coordinated delivery and setup, and a written quote that states terms before you agree to anything.
Lost cold storage, a fire or flood in the kitchen, or a failed dish-room inspection can all call for a trailer fast. Phone us, and we start working out the replacement while you gather the address and power details.
The state Department of Environmental Conservation permits temporary food service in most of Alaska. A permit covers only the named operator, location, dates and approved foods. Contact DEC's Food Safety and Sanitation program about whether a trailer needs a mobile unit permit or separate permits for each event.
The Seward Highway is the road link, and it has had temporary closures from heavy snow and avalanches near Turnagain Pass, plus avalanche-control delays of 45 minutes or longer. Check Alaska 511 for current conditions before moving a trailer, and allow for weather holds.
