Haines began as a stage stop and was platted in the mid-1880s along the Oregon Railway and Navigation Company line, at about 3,337 feet in Baker County. Its calendar centers on the Haines Stampede, a rodeo held at the Highway 30 grounds around the Fourth of July, with a parade and fireworks.
We rent mobile kitchen trailers, dishwashing trailers, and emergency refrigeration trailers as short-term rentals or long-term leases. Call any hour or request availability and a quote for your Haines site.

Winter nights regularly drop below freezing, with lows around 22°F. We check water-line protection and heater capacity for rentals through the cold months.
Haines's July highs average about 88°F. That is a normal load for our equipment, but it is enough to expose an aging walk-in cooler, which is a common reason people call us.
Haines is about 250 miles in a straight line from our Salem warehouse, so this is a planned delivery, not a same-day one. Road distance runs longer than that, and we confirm the route, permits, and timing at quote. In an emergency, call first and we start immediately.
The rodeo has run July 3 and 4 in recent years, and local press describes a five-day program with junior events and jackpot roping beforehand. A host group feeding contestants, stock handlers, and volunteers could use a kitchen trailer and a dishwashing trailer at the grounds.
The Haines Jr Stampede is listed separately from the main rodeo and brings young riders and their families to the grounds. Families camping through a multi-day schedule need hot meals and cold drinks, which is where a temporary serving line with refrigeration can fill a gap.
About one in five residents were 65 or older at the 2020 census. If a congregate meal site, church hall, or care setting loses its kitchen to an equipment failure or repair, a temporary kitchen trailer can keep meals going until the permanent kitchen is back.
We keep equipment in Salem, the Oregon capital, and plan every delivery from there. Haines is about 250 miles from the warehouse as the crow flies; the actual road route, timing, and any permits are confirmed when we quote.
Haines sits on Highway 30 in Baker County. From Salem, expect I-5 north to I-84 east through the Columbia River corridor and across eastern Oregon. Winter snow and ice can affect I-84 and the mountain stretches along the way, so check TripCheck before moving a trailer; the final approach is not verified.
From Haines, North Powder is about 8 miles away, Sumpter about 17 miles, and Union about 21 miles, so one route can often serve more than one of them.
We confirm the exact route and any seasonal limits for your address at quote.
Open 24/7
Fourth of July week concentrates crowds, vendors, and food storage in one place. A failed walk-in cooler or a lost kitchen that week would be hard to bridge locally; our 24/7 emergency deployment offers refrigeration and cooking capacity on short notice.

A kitchen trailer works best with a dish room and cold storage beside it. Each card shows its monthly starting price. Operators in Cove, Island City, and Imbler face the same choice when a dish room or walk-in cooler goes down.

Rentals run by the month, with short-term and long-term options. Delivery, setup, and pickup are coordinated for your site. An inquiry does not reserve equipment; a person confirms availability, delivery time, and terms with you. Hours: open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Setup usually takes about five hours for kitchens and dishwashing trailers and about one hour for refrigeration units, and an inquiry is the first step, not a reservation.
When a kitchen closes for a renovation, a repair, or an emergency, the people it feeds still need to eat. Reliable Haines mobile kitchen rentals and a team that picks up the phone keep service running on your schedule.
From the first call, we line up transport and setup for Haines mobile kitchen rentals in Haines so the kitchen is ready when your crew is.
Call (888) 385-5513 any hour. A broken cooler or a closed kitchen does not wait for business hours.
From picking the right trailer to utility hookups and pickup, one team stays on your job.
Rent by the week or the month, or lease for a longer project, and send the trailer back when you no longer need it.
Ranges, ovens, dish machines, and coolers sized for institutional volume, not household appliances.
Placement, utilities, and wastewater are reviewed with you ahead of delivery so there are no surprises on arrival.
We serve commercial and institutional kitchens: healthcare, education, government and military, hospitality, correctional facilities, and caterers. We stand behind what we can confirm: a person on the phone around the clock, delivery and setup coordination, and a quote that spells out terms before you commit.
When a cooler warms up overnight, a flood closes the kitchen, or an inspector shuts down the dish room, call us and we begin planning the replacement on that call. It helps to have the unit's make, your available power, and the site address ready.
Temporary and mobile food operations are generally licensed by the county where the event takes place, though some operators fall under state agriculture licensing. Contact the Baker County health authority and the rodeo organizers early, since event vendors often have to follow their own site rules too.
At roughly 3,300 feet, boiling points are slightly lower and some equipment, especially propane burners, may perform differently than at sea level. Ask the trailer provider about the cooking line, and confirm any health department requirements for holding temperatures for your menu.
